This Privacy Policy describes how YCalorie ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application YCalorie (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information you provide directly:

• Email address and full name (when you create an account)
• Body metrics: weight, height, age, and fitness goal
• Food diary entries, including photos of meals
• Exercise logs and fasting session records

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the App's features
• Analyze food photos using AI to estimate nutritional content (processed via Anthropic Claude API)
• Calculate calorie goals, macro targets, and progress tracking
• Sync your data across sessions via Firebase

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect data:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, data storage, and analytics.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which permanently removes all associated data from our systems.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Your data is stored securely using Firebase infrastructure provided by Google. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data by deleting your account in the App
• Contact us with any privacy-related questions or concerns

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• In-app: Go to Profile → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all stored data (diary entries, body metrics, food logs).
• By email: Send a deletion request to mirzayantsdaniel@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process the request within 7 days.

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
